Razer Ifrit - Serial Number and Product Numbers do not match for registration


I recently bought a Razer Ifrit that came bundled with the Razer USB Audio Enhancer and received it today. I noticed that there are two serial numbers on the product box but only one product number. On the Razer Ifrit product tag, it has a different product number from the one on the box. The same goes with the Razer USB Audio Enhancer, it also has a different product number from the box as well. I tried registering using the Product Number and Serial Number found on the tag of the Razer Ifrit but I keep getting "Item serial number does not match product number". The same outcome happens when I tried to register the numbers for the Razer USB Audio Enhancer found on its product tag. I tried to also register the product number found on the box for both the Razer Ifrit and the USB Audio Enhancer and I still get the "Item serial number does not match product number". Which is the correct serial number and product number to register my Razer Ifrit + USB Audio Enhancer bundle?

I recently purchased a Razer mouse off Amazon, using the SN and PN off the bottom of the mouse and it's saying they do not match..

This has been a problem for a while. The fun thing is razer is not responding and it's not gonna be fixxed. Mean while they are deleting other posts on other websites becuase it's againts policy to aks you quesiton on an other website then razer lol.

Yea mine is doing the same thing. Friggin rad dude.

Hey, I bought a new mouse too, I struggled for a long time to try and register my mouse in like razer synapse, and the serial number was on the mouse, but it turns out the correct product number was actually on the bottom of the box. Try the one on the box instead. Again, THE PRODUCT NUMBER ON THE BOX. The Serial number on the mouse is correct.

for me, the serial number on my keyboard isn't correct but the product number is?

Are you sure about that? Just try switching around combinations between the PN and SN on the box vs on the actual keyboard. There's only a few combinations, so just run through them all and you'll get it soon.

If none of your tries works, tell me and I'll try to help again, and give you a list of all possible combos if you need to double check.

I have the Huntsman elite and I think I just used the PS and SN on the actual keyboard? But its a bit weird with razer so lmk

Thanks for taking over, appreciate it. I only remember having difficulty registering my mouse, so I discovered how to do that; not my keyboard, so sadly I don't know how to help that person.
