Razer Kishi Charging Issue

I just bought the Razer Kishi to use with my Moto Z (1st Gen running android 8.0) and I'm having issues charging my phone while I'm using the controller. When I plug my charger into the pass-through port I see the light turn blue but then there's no charge indicator on my phone and the percentage still goes down.

You can try to update the firmware using the Razer Kishi app. That said, this is highly likely an Android 8.0 limitation. Can you test the controller on a phone with Android 10?

I've updated the firmware to no avail. As far as testing goes, I only have the phone I have which is Android 8.0. No one else in my home has a compatible phone. Isn't the Kishi supposed to be compatible with android 8.0?

For the most part, yes, but Android 8.0 is known to have this issue. That said, you can try to plug in the charger to the Razer Kishi before connecting the controller to the phone. Do send me a the serial number of your controller and a screenshot of your Android build version. That way I can forward your configuration to our Devs. *Locking the thread to curb the conversation to PMs.
