Are there any updates or plans on support for the new USB-C iPhones for the Razer Kishi (any version)? Backbone has announced support via firmware update. I’m hopeful we’ll get something similar for the Razer Kishi.
Allegedly, yes:

The end of the article states that companies have “confirmed the compatibility”, for paraphrasing purposing, of the Kishi V2 and others.
hope this helps!
That’s really good to see. I wish he would have listed sources though. I don’t know that I feel comfortable buying something that one guy on the internet says is real.
Definitely would be nice to hear an official yes or no from Razer. I totally agree, I hate to spend the money based off of an article without sources. 😏🤔
I tried contacting support, and as far as anyone there knows it is currently officially a no. It could just be that they haven’t been provided any updated resources, but they specifically told me that the only iPhone support is for up to iPhone 14 on the lightning model, and Android devices are supported on the USB-C model, nothing else. I would love to hear official news stating otherwise, though!
Tried iPhone 15 pro on iOS 17.0.2 with Kishi V2 Pro Xbox edition and it does NOT work. Nexus app does not recognize it and phone even popped up a message saying incompatible device when I plugged it into the gamepad.
This is unfortunate. People have already validated the backbone works with the iPhone 15 so it looks like I’ll be returning my Kishi and getting a backbone.
I’m using my non-console specific kishi with my 15 Pro Max. The app does not recognize it, but the hardware is working. I can control compatible apps. MirrorPlay works perfectly.

It’s unfortunate, that the Xbox specific one doesn’t work, but the generic one does.

what version kishi? The regular kishi v2 pro android (non-console)?
Sorry, not even the pro. Just the V2.
Well darn, I wonder why the v2 works but not the pro. Here’s to hoping they come out with a software update.

I’m guessing the haptics and the headphone jack. The base version is just a usb controller with nothing fancy except the M1 and M2 buttons. The nexus app doesn't see it for what it’s worth
I emailed support and didn’t really get an answer about updating the iOS app to work with the Nexus app and Kishi v2. It’s works fine on as far as the button except the two mappable buttons can’t be mapped without the app. don’t understand how backbone can say they plan to give support to the backbone with iOS but Razer can’t do the same.

Razer Kishi V2 - Not working with iPhone 15 Pro Max through USB-C and Nexus app.
We understand that you are wondering if Razer plans to support the new iPhone 15 with its software and the USBC devices. We are aware that the iPhone 15 is a new and innovative device that many of our customers are eager to use with our products. However, at the moment, we do not have any official information or confirmation on whether or not we will support the iPhone 15 with our software and the USBC devices. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause you.
The Kishi v2 pro-Android was designed specifically for Android phones with USB-C connection.
It is of course great to finally have USB-C connectivity for iPhones. The Kishis that fit these certainly can be used as plug-and-play however, the firmware adaptation has yet to be configured to the latest iOS version.
This is why, the entire functionality or the user experience is not entirely perfect.
I have read that if you upgrade the firmware the V2 will work with the Iphone 15. How do you update the firmware if the Razer software doesn’t recognize the controller?

The V2 (not pro) works with the iPhone 15 phones out of the box. No firmware update needed. I can confirm this personally

Wonder what i am doing right. I returned the Pro to get the V2 and it doesn’t do anything when i turn it one. The light lights up for a second and then shuts off. Do i need some special key combo to make it sync up to my phone?

What model iPhone do you have and what iOS version?
what game are you trying to play? I’ve heard (havent personally tested) that the iOS razer nexus app will not completely work with the device but most games should.
