Have a problem where every once in a while - mostly in games, calls or when loud sounds happen - the headphones pop, disconnect, then reconnect to the PC. Looking at the volume mixer and playback devices, the headphones just disappear and the PC makes a random device the default until the headphones reconnect about 5 seconds later.
Changing ports works for like an hour, but it starts happening again. Tried it on all different ports, same outcome. Tried reinstalling drivers multiple times, turning off surround, using lower volume, running without synapse, nothing changes.
