Razer Kiyo - Settings Reset; Generic USB Video Device

Hi folks, I have a ticket in about this issue, but maybe one of you has had these issues (and solved them). I found a couple similar threads in late July, so I'm thinking this is a new issue (or perhaps related to the latest Windows update?). Anyhoo, here's where I stand:
  • Gain settings reset to 1 after every reboot. Basically, camera comes on, I look like I'm broadcasting from a closet. Can fix in Synapse, but settings don't persist between restarts.
  • Kiyo doesn't show as a camera to be selected in programs like Zoom, Discord, or Twitch Studio. Instead, camera appears as generic USB Video Device. Camera DOES appear properly in Device Manager, and the built-in microphone shows in Device Manager and where applicable in programs like Twitch Studio.
Running most current firmware. Switched between several ports (USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 and back again), uninstalling and reinstalling each time. Only other tidbit of interest is that my PC is running both a discrete GPU (a Radeon) and the integrated GPU (Intel UHD 630), so that the Intel GPU does hardware encoding for my streaming. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I have the exact same issue and haven't found any fix myself so I just got used to manually adjusting my gain every boot-up. Let me know if there is a good fix.

Same problem here, jsut stopped working. Please let me know if anyone found a solution for this issue.
I am having exactly this issue too. In OBS it's also super dark unless I turn on and off autofocus. This is crazy that so many people seem to be experiencing this and there hasn't been a response... In Synapse 3 it just says "The current settings on your camera is different from Razer Synapse. Which settings would you like to keep?" but it won't let me choose either Camera or Synapse. Very frustraing.

Having the same issue the camera works but it doesn't save settigns and shows as usb video device in obs
same here, I want to keep low light compensation off but it keeps resetting to on every time I activate the camera. any ideas out there?

    In Synapse 3 it just says "The current settings on your camera is different from Razer Synapse. Which settings would you like to keep?" but it won't let me choose either Camera or Synapse. Very frustraing.
    I am having this exact same issue.. and I can't get it to respond to clicking on either button.. just sits there and makes the app unusable.
