Razer Kiyo stop working

Hello Razer Support,

I’m reaching out regarding a serious issue with my Razer Kiyo camera. Although the video I’m referencing was not recorded by me, it perfectly illustrates the exact problem I’m experiencing.

When I launch Razer Synapse, the camera powers on, but the light ring begins to blink continuously, and a humming noise is audible. The device appears to be stuck in a loop and is completely unusable.

Here’s what I’ve already tried, without success:

  • Reinstalled Razer Synapse
  • Restarted the Razer Kiyo
  • Disconnected and reconnected the USB
  • Tested the camera on another computer
  • Updated the firmware

Serial number: PM2109L01702086.

Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue. I purchased the Razer Kiyo for $70, and I expected a much longer lifespan for a product at this price point. This was my first Razer product, and it’s disappointing to encounter such a critical failure so soon.

Is there anyone from Razer Support who can assist with this issue? I’m hoping for a resolution, but this experience is making me reconsider future purchases from the brand.

It seems like we're dealing with a defective Razer Kiyo here. Please note that the Razer Kiyo comes with a 1-year warranty, and we are unable to process a warranty claim for it if it falls outside of that period. Could you please check if the dongle is detected in your Device Manager? Also, could you please send me your proof of purchase so I can check your device's warranty details for a possible warranty claim? You can upload your proof of purchase to your Google Drive and send me the link. Make sure that the link is set the sharing settings to "Anyone with the link can view". Thank you!
