Hi Community,
so my Razer Kiyo is only recognised as a "USB Video device" since today and Synapse wont react to it. i tried reinstalling both, the kiyo and synapse. but nothing helps. Discord still records with it but its just named USB Video Device. while OBS still shows it as USB Video Device but wont record.

can anybody help me fix this?

Hi, what is your windows 10 version? I have 2 computers, one of them is version 2004, kiyo recognized as USB Video Device and synapse controls dont work, the other pc is version 1909 and is working ok, also recognized as Razer Kiyo.

I have the same problem and I am on Windows 10 version 2004 too.

Indeed I tried to roll back to 1909 version and see what happens but there is only 30 days to do that after updating and Im out of luck.

Can u roll back yet and try?

Go to Control Panel > System & Security > System > Device Management > Cameras > Razer Kiyo
Double-click it
Open Device Driver > Update > Search on my Computer > Select form a list on my computer >
Select USB video device
Reboot even if not asked to
