Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 mic too sensitive

I recently purchased a pair of Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 but kept encountering issues. First it kept muting discord, which I fixed via the registry editor, and now the microphone sensitivity is insane. I tried lowering the sensitivity and input volume of the mic both in Razer Synapse and in Discord, as well as windows Sound settings, but the volume was still loud enough to blow out my friends' eardrums. Does anyone know how to fix this?
