Razer kraken headphones mic not working :(

Hi guys i hope you can help me. My razer kraken headphones microphone is not working when plugged into my PC. When both the jacks are plugged in i get static in the headphones and the microphone does not pick up my voice and just records static. Can anyone help me with this? :(

    First thing that you should do is to test the mic on a smartphone. If you get the same static noise, then you're looking at a hardware issue. Do send me a PM with the serial number of your headset so I can validate the warranty status.
