Razer Kraken not Recognized by Synapse, Mic not Working

So, the mic on my kraken isn't picking anything up, which is strange since it definitely worked when I bought it back in May. Surround Sound 7.1 works fine, audio works fine, all that. But I go to audio devices to see if there's anything I can do and there's no headphones/headset/microphone there registered as connected to fiddle around with. I used to be able to talk to people just fine when both were new, but I don't have too many specifics since I never questioned it. I'm starting to think it's not actually the headphones at fault, but rather my laptop, since I can plug my headphones into my phone, pull the mic out, and talk to Siri just fine, and mics on other headphones don't work with my laptop at the moment either. Have any suggestions? Like I said, both are only a couple months old, so they shouldn't be breaking but who knows.

I ended up getting this fixed yesterday after a talk with support- I had to factory reset my laptop, which is no fun and obviously not the optimal solution, but hey, it worked.
