Razer kraken tournament edition problem

I've run into this problem where I won't get any sound whatsoever when following the instructions in the booklet:
  • Select Razer Kraken TE - Chat and set it as Default Communication Device.
  • Select Razer Kraken TE - Game and set it as Default Device.
Doing this makes it so I literally have no sound on my PC; however, when I just set Razer Kraken TE - Chat as Default Device I get sound perfectly. Also the booklet picture states that both Razer Kraken TE - Chat and Razer Kraken TE - Game should be recognised by the system as headphones. At my case only Razer Kraken TE - Chat is recognised as headphones and Razer Kraken TE - Game is recognised by the system as speakers.

    Hey there! Sorry to hear about your headset's concern. Have you updated your Razer Kraken TE and your Razer Synapse 3.0 recently? Does the Razer Synapse detect your headset?
