Razer Kraken Ultimate - Volume Dial Not Working (Doesn't change volume)
My volume dial has stopped working properly on my Razer Kraken Ultimate ever since I installed the Razer Synapse software (same issue as last thread). I can only control the volume through windows settings or Razer Synapse. The dial was working fine on multiple devices before I began using the newest version of Synapse (headset wasn't supported by older version), and I've only had the headset for about two weeks. I would appreciate any help/assistance. Best, Devin

I just got my headset and the volume wheel just shows how high my volume is, it doesnt change it only pulls the menu up. Also on my keyboard which is a huntsman elite the volume wheel on that doesnt work either. the only volume control i have is on windows and synapse.
Same issue! With razer synapse 3.0 uninstalled, it works perfectly fine. When I install it, the volume wheel just stops working. It pulls up the volume menu but doesn't actually change it. Extremely frustrating!
I actually got mine to work again, all you have to do is just unplug your headset and blow into the wheel really hard and plug it back in. The problem is most likely dust.
VeasnadanggActually the problem is not hardware-wise, it's razer synapse. With it uninstalled, it works just fine. With it installed it does not work.

I unpacked my razer kraken kitty today, and the volume wheel only shows how high my volume is, it doesn't change a thing...
even with my razer synapse deleted i still cannot control my volume from the volume wheel. it just pulled up the volume menu.
I am also having this issue with brand a brand new headset with synapse installed. Is there no way to have the benefits of synapse and control the volume??
NaughtyOttsel69Apparently not. I gave up all the benefits of razer synapse on my Blackwidow chroma v2, my Kraken ultimate and my mamba TE just to be able to control the volume with the volume dial. Currently, I'm waiting for updates on how to solve it, but for now, I'll just use everything without razer synapse. Sad...

worst_lameTry restarting your computer, I tried many many times to install and uninstall and always when I uninstalled and restarted my computer it worked right away.

Same problem, i just got the headset 1h ago, at first the wheel worked just fine and randomly stopped working and now it just pops the menu but doesnt move, so frustrating bc its an expensive headset and it does this...any solution?!?!
I had the same issue with my brand new headset. Restarted the computer and it works just fine. Seems like the drivers just need a restart to work properly
