I just bought a pair of Razer headset (never owned any razer product)and I am not thrilled with the sound quality and after I did some digging it may be that I have a problem. Simply put: everything is muffled and they sound worse than my other pair. In games/youtube or anything, it's all muffled like someone covered the speaker. I do have 7.1 surround activated and it just makes it worse but with more volume if that makes sense

    I highly recommend that you disable all sound enhancements and reset your EQ sliders to test. By the way, do you mind sharing which frequencies sound muffled?

    hello, i have the same problem, the HZ500 on the eq is changing the "muffle amount", having it down reduce it and on max makes the headphones sound like a 1$ headphones. I hope you can help :/

    Which Razer headset do you have? Do you mind sending me a PM with the serial number of your device and a screenshot of your EQ settings?
