Razer kraken v3 pro Firmware update failing on step 2

When i try and update my headset firmware from 1.03.00 to 1.10.00, after unplugging and replugging in the dongle for step 2 it goes back to only showing step one with the update button greyed out and then fails after about 2 minutes. Ive tried doing a clean uninstall of all razer drivers and software and then reinstalling razer synapse 3 like i saw in another post, ive made sure every other app is closed, im not sure what else to try. I dont have another computer to try on, and my computer only has 1 USB A port.
