Recently, I received the Kraken V3 Pro headset as a gift for Christmas. When I first used it, everything was working fine. The second time I logged onto my PC and used the headset, the Detachable Razer HyperClear Supercardioid Mic stopped recording audio, and the headset stopped playing audio. After utilizing the Windows troubleshoot system, the headset now plays audio as it was an internal error. However, the microphone still remains the same and does not record audio. My drivers are up to date, and I’ve even installed the Firmware Updater and the Pairing Utility; though, to no appeal for the recording.
Although, I can remove the microphone and plug it into the PC directly. When utilized in such way, the microphone records. That being said, I think there may be a problem with my headset’s Microphone Jack. Can someone please assist me? I have been trying for a day now to get this functioning. I’ve seen the tutorials on the Razer website and still, nothing seems to be working out for me. Should I return this headset?
