Razer Kraken X: I need help please

The new kraken x headset I bought today is not being recognized as a separate audio device from my speakers. I would like to keep my headphones and my speakers in at the same time to reduce damage from plugging in and unplugging. I'm sorry if this is dumb but i cant figure it out

P.s. I had the older kraken model with usb and never had an issue with them. I had to replace them bc my dumbass sat on them and broke them.

also on a side not if anyone knows how to get the policy tag off my screen that would be great too. I agree doesn't seem to be working.

    Help, i have a laptop and when i plug my kraken x in it doesn't recognise the mic as an input! Can you help me?
