Razer kraken x not showing in synapse or device manager

Hi i got my kraken x headset today, i plugged it in on my pc and when i head over to device manager it registers as high definition audio device and when i load up synapse it does not recognize the device at all. I have tried reinstalling both the headset and synapse with no luck, Im currently updating a few drivers, however if this does not work can anyone suggest any ideas, thanks in advance.
