Razer Kraken X not working

Hi All, I just purchased a Razer Kraken X headset and it doesnt output any audio or mic sounds. I have looked online and seen that I need to change the audio options in the Razer synapse however there isnt an option there for me. tried reinstalling this but still no joy. Anyone else had this issue or know of a fix? Thanks
