Razer kraken x, problem in activation of the 7.1 surround sound code

I bought my razer kraken x and went to activate 7.1, downloaded the 7.1 surround sound app and put the code that came in the box and when I put it in it looked like the code had already been used, I was wondering if anyone can help me solve this, I will stay Much obliged.
