Razer Leviathan l: Bluetooth stopped working | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hi guys,

I bought a Leviathan V2 around ten days ago. It's been working well so far, but today when I tried to switch the input to Bluetooth by pressing the source button on the soundbar, nothing seems to happen. I switched it off and on a couple of times, still no Bluetooth.

I was able to use the Bluetooth as late as last Friday, so I am wondering what happened.
You can hard reset by holding the mute button for 10s

Thanks for the reply! I am using a Leviathan V2 which doesn't have a mute button. Does that model have a hard reset option as well?

Thanks again! I updated the Intel drivers, including the one for Bluetooth, but no dice again.

Usually, when I click the Bluetooth button the soundbar, the source button changes from green to blue. But it just remains green. It seemed to work fine as recent as last Friday (4 days ago).
Adding myself to this! I use it with Bluetooth for my Mac Mini, but out of nowhere there's no audio. It shows the signs of being paired with my Mac and iPhone (tested both) but no sound comes out. Mac has the M1 chip, not an intel one.

Leviathan 2 still works fine with PC with a direct connection.

So I had the bright idea of unplugging the soundbar for 5-10 minutes and plugging it back in. When I turned it on, the source button was glowing blue, and on my phone it showed that the soundbar was connected via Bluetooth. However, no sound came out of either my phone or my laptop when connected via Bluetooth.

As an added wrinkle, now my Leviathan V2 doesn't work via USB connection as well, with either of my laptops. The source button is now stuck on blue and doesn't turn to green to indicate that it's switched to the USB connection. So the soundbar is now essentially useless.

This has been a very disappointing experience so far. :frown_:

No worries!

I talked with Razer support via phone and they said the item is now considered defective. So I will have to replace it.
I've just bought my Razer Leviathan for over a month, but it appears that both the NFC and Bluetooth are now not working. At first, it could connect to my phone via NFC, but the quality was poor, and sometimes the sound would mute for 1-2s then back, so I didn't use NFC anymore. Today, after a month, I tried it again only to see that instead of connecting to my phone via NFC, the sound bar switched to Bluetooth, and my phone said that it was unable to pair with the bar. I am so confused right now, am I doing anything wrong? Does anyone have the omeglz same issues?
Uggh so I got a replacement Razer Leviathan V2 today and set it up. Was able to use Bluetooth on it fine for 2 hours or so. Then I powered the soundbar off just to be safe and now, after turning it on some 4 hours later, I am getting the same Bluetooth issue with a new unit! I hadn't even connected the soundbar to a laptop yet through the USB cable. The only thing I did was use the Audio app from Razer on my phone.
Hey guys! Can you PM me the serial number or case number so I can check on my end? It will help me validate the model and specifications of your device and start a case if necessary. Thanks!
