Razer Naga Pro scroll wheel encoder part number? | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
The scroll wheel on my Naga Pro started acting up (scrolling too far/in the wrong direction/when I'm not trying to scroll), so I took the thing apart to clean it. Cleaning didn't help, so I opened up the scroll encoder, bent the tiny spring inside to make it tighter, and glued it back together. That fixed the issue for a few weeks, but the same issue has returned.

Does anyone know the part number for this scroll wheel encoder and where I could get a replacement 10.0.0.0.1? It's a Kailh encoder with a green core. The mouse is under warranty, but I'd rather replace the ten-cent part myself than deal with Razer's RMA process.

Did you find any solution my friend?
I am having the exact same problem the last 2 months

I have asked Raze support for them but have not received any response yet.

It seems like the scroll wheel issue with your Naga Pro persists despite your attempts at fixing it. Since the problem recurred, it might require a more thorough examination or replacement of the scroll encoder mechanism. Contact Razer support for further assistance or explore warranty options if applicable.for more information visit reminiapkking

I understand you're looking for a specific replacement part for your Razer Naga Pro mouse's scroll wheel encoder. Here's a concise response based on the information you provided:

  1. The encoder you're looking for is a Kailh encoder with a green core.
  2. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact part number for this specific encoder.
  3. Kailh encoders are commonly used in gaming mice, but finding the exact match can be challenging without the specific part number.
  4. You might be able to find compatible encoders on electronics supplier websites or marketplaces like AliExpress, but ensure it matches the dimensions and specifications of your original part.
  5. Be aware that replacing the part yourself may void your warranty if you haven't already.
  6. If you can't find the exact part, considering the warranty is still valid, the RMA process might be your best option for a long-term fix, despite the inconvenience.

If your Naga Pro is out of warranty or if you just don’t feel like dealing with the RMA process this encoder I found on eBay is a direct replacement.  Yes it states that it is for a Razer Naga Epic Chroma but it will work in the Razer Naga Pro (RZ01-0342).  The only difference is this is a yellow core encoder, not green.  Everything else is physically the same including the 2.0mm connector of the original encoder so you won’t have to make any alterations to it prior to installation.

Now before I wrote this reply I did in fact order one for myself since my mouse was experiencing the scrolling issues that anyone looking at this post is likely seeing as well.  I placed my order on the 10th of August and it just arrived today, August 24th.  I completed the installation of it and it works perfectly.  They come in packs of two so you have a backup readily available.  It was well worth the wait to have a functional mouse again.
