Razer Naga Trinity - Non Mouse Functions Not Working

My laptop will not register any non-mouse functions from my mouse nor any input at all from the side buttons. I can see that the side plate is identified as being connected and I’ve cleaned the pins. I am fairly confident it is an issue with my laptop as everything works fine on my pc. I’ve tried checking my drivers in the device manager and saw a keyboard one for the mouse as well as the mouse itself.
