Razer Naga v2 pro - no profiles/macros available when connected via Bluetooth

When my Razer Naga v2 pro is connected via Bluetooth, profiles/macros are not working unless Synapse is running. Is this an issue or intended behaviour? If so, will this change with a future firmware update?
