Razer Nari EQ doesn't always work

I am using Razer Synapse 3 to change the EQ settings on my Nari for when listening to music, but sometimes it does not actually do anything, where it has selected the music preset but the sound does not change. I have found restarting my entire pc to do the trick, restarting synapse doesn't seem to do it on its own, if someone knows a way to fix it that doesn't involve restarting my whole pc that would be appreciated.
