Razer Nari Essential Microphone Doesn't Detect Input

The headphones work great but the microphone doesn't pick anything up at all. I have already made sure that the microphone is the default device, Have tried removing it from the device manager and reinstalling the drivers, and changed the sample rate/bit depth in the sound control panel and none have improved the situation. It is also not muted.
