Razer Nari headset sidetone not working in Synapse 3

I have just purchased a new Razer Nari headset. However, when I go into Synapse 3 and turn on sidetone I can NOT hear myself as expected from the sidetone feature. What am I missing?

Same issue. Returned my first one, same issue with my second. I have an open ticket but I don't really have faith that will do anything. I really like the headset and I don't want to return it but I feel that is my only option at this point. Sidetone is a must have for me and its unfortunate there is no fix for this yet.

I contacted support again, they had me update to the newest firmware on the Nari itself, same issue. Sadly it looks like there is no fix for this at the moment. I bought a Kraken Tournament Edition headset to test, sidetone works on that just fine. Sucks that the "fix" is to return the headset and get something else.
