Razer Nari Sounds Muffled

I've had my Nari headset for a couple of hours now and I've noticed that the headset sounds pretty muffled. In certain situations, audio and some effects sound super muffled or really bass like. I've tried editing some settings through Synapse but nothing seemed to help. I've changed to the Nari Chat driver and that had some difference but things were still muffled.

    Do you mind sharing your EQ settings? Also, is this with surround sound enabled? If the sound signature is a bit too bass-heavy, you can try to tweak the EQ to boost the mids and highs a bit then take away a bit of the lower frequencies.

    I've tried everything and made a zero-bass EQ to test it, but it still sounded muffled. Sadly I am returning them either way, they didn't meet my expectations.

    Oh, does the nari carry the same or similar USB audio controller? If not, it was wrong of me to assume such.
