Razer Nari Ultimate stopped working, wont turn on or charge | Razer Insider

Title more or less covers it all.

My device suddenly stopped working, cannot turn it on, neither does the charge indicator light up, however from the 3.5 aux it is working.

After some research, I seem to not be the only one and I concluded im having the same issue as these fellas:

Also checked for firmware updates, there is one present which seems exactly to be the fix for the issue, however when I run the firmware updater, right at the first step, it wouldnt even recognize the dongle to be connected (even though windows does recognize it) hence I cannot update the firmware.

Unfortunately it is not in warranty anymore, is there anything i can do besides smashing it out from the highest floor even though the HW itself probably isnt faulty?

Same issue here. Also happened a couple days ago out of the blue. Firmware recovery doesnt work for the exact same reasons

Same problem for me too, Wont work unless the charger is plugged in.

Same problem mine won’t work even if the charger is plugged in but i will get sound from it if i have it plugged in with the 3.5 cable. Whats going on and how can we fix it, please help.

Looks like we’re all still waiting on a reply. Mine was a warranty replacement for the dongle issue 2.5 years ago. So, naturally, it just dies 6 months out of warranty.

Crowd! I thought about the following: Have you tried connecting to Windows 10? It could be a Windows problem.

You need to download RazerNariUltimatePairingUtility to pair the headphones. Restart your computer, then open Razer Synapse. After that, it should work normally. The reason it may not be functioning could be that the headphones were unpaired, possibly due to a Windows update or another cause.

Same issue with me.  If I leave it plugged in long enough I can get the green light to come back on but the moment I unplug it, it goes dead again.  I’m unable to turn it off, I’m unable to do the soft reset, I’m unable to get firmware updater to recognize it.  Synapse does recognize it but only as a device that is turned off.  The pairing works and recognizes it.  The dongle recovery works and recognizes the dongle.

The pairing worked for me.

Download the pairing utility: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/583

Make sure to use the razer cable (mine has green plastic in the plug)

If You cant find your original cable use a verified data-cable, not charge-only.

Follow instructions on the linked page, worked like a charm.
