Razer Nari Ultimate (wired into desktop pc)

Hello, I am trying to use my Nari Ultimate while it is plugged into a headphone/mic adapter that goes into my PC. White yes, I can get sound, and I set my haptic feedback from synapse 3 before I plugged it in. And it works, but... I can't use synapse while I have my headset plugged in via the 3.5mm audio cable. Why is this? It gives a much more clean connection, and I don't mind the wire, but what the heck! I can't adjust my EQ, haptic intensity, or anything at all when it is plugged in? That make no sense, can someone please help me, thanks!
