Question

razer opus x only works when charging

lifeawesomeRedPigment750

I got a new headset and connected it to the usb port on my computer for it to charge, when it’s charging it turns on but the minute I disconnect it to use the wireless function it’s dead. It will only turn on while charging.

I should mention that my pc didn’t have bluetooth so I had to get it with a usb, I don’t know if this has to do with the issue but i’ve already tried everything from deleting the device on the computer, installing it again, using the repair tool, deactivating the option of saving battery, EVERYTHING. please help me

I have the same problem in that as soon as you unplug the power it stops working. Nobody seems to have an answer though.

Same issue.  If the device is plugged in via USB, it can be turned on, it connects to the computer via bluetooth and it functions as expected.  As soon as you disconnect the USB cable, the device shuts off and cannot be turned on unless it is plugged in again.  Tried resetting it according to the instructions I was able to find, by plugging in the 3.5 jack and holding down the power+volume up+volume down buttons, did not do anything, the device does not react to this sequence in any way.

Same issue here, is it the battery?

Anybody found the solution?

Nope, no solution, nothing I was able to find online works.  At this point, the headphones can only be used as passive regular headphones, with a cable connected.  This was my last Razer product.
