I had Razer Ornata Chroma for years.
Recently the enter key broke and I was forced to buy a new keyboard.
I bought Razer Ornata V3X, since I like the membrane feel and quiet keyboard.
I was told that the keyboard has no problem with gaming, but I ran into a problem in 15 minutes.
I play some casual game and I use WASD like most people. But I use CAPS lock also. So here comes in the problem.
CAPS LOCK WONT WORK, IF I PRESS W + ANY OTHER KEY.
EXAMPLES:
W+E (HOLD) .. CAPS WONT WORK.
W+A (HOLD) .. CAPS WONT WORK.
W+D (HOLD) .. CAPS WONT WORK.
…
A+S (HOLD) .. CAPS WORKS.
A+F (HOLD) .. CAPS WORKS.
…
Now I use CAPS for jump in first person shooters, and for other things in other games.
I know that roll-over is a problem with membrane keyboards, but 3 keys on a “gaming” keyboard problem? Not acceptable.
This is a game breaker for me, if you will say that its by design. My old Ornata has no problem with this and I bought it in 2015.
Please tell me that this crap can be avoided….
