Razer Phone 2 Charging Issue

Hey all, I've been having issues charging my rp2 with a type c. I've tried multiple other wires/charging cases. Sometimes after plugging and unplugging the cord the battery will finally have the charging symbol and start charging. It's not like it is a bad wire because when it starts charging i can mess with the wire and it'll still be fine. The weird thing is I downloaded the app called ampere which can detect the charge rate and etc. Whenever I plug in a charging cable the ampere app will detect it charging but getting only about 100-300mA and my battery symbol doesnt change. I've tried cleaning out gunk in the port and not sure what could be causing this?
