Razer Phone 2 Viewfinder ghosting in 3rd party apps like Instagram

Just got a Razer Phone 2 and while I love the phone, there is an experience breaking bug that is making me think about returning it. For whatever reason the Viewfinders in 3rd party apps such as Instagram and Snapchat have massive ghosting issues when taking still shots or video shots through the Viewfinder. This is a deal breaker for me. Not being able to communicate on these services is a massive detriment. Some people have said to turn down the refresh rate to 60hz inside of these applications. This does not solve the problem. This is my 2nd Razer Phone 2 to have this issue. Has anyone resolved this?
