Razer Phone not recognizing Sim Card, All methods applied

My razor phone 1 is not recognizing any sim card that is inserted into it. I have tried hard resetting, factory resetting, to no avail. I bought the phone in the UK, but have now moved to the US. Is the phone acting like this because of region locking? If so, please help me.

    The Razer Phones are unlocked and operate on the GSM network. If your service provider supports the network bands in our specifications, the Razer Phone will work. Please refer below: GSM: Quad-band GSM
    • UMTS: B1/2/3/4/5/8
    • LTE: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/19/20/25/26/28/29/30/66
    • TDD LTE: B38/39/40/41 TD-SCDMA: B34/39
