Razer Pro Type keys repeating

I have a Razer Pro Type keyboard, model # RC30 -030702, and when typing, keys will randomly double strike/repeat.

There is a firmware upgrade for a similar model # keyboard, but not exactly RC30-030702. I ran the update anyway from a Windows 10 machine, and the update does not get passed (insert the USB fob) screen.

Should this upgrade work on this model? Are there other fixes for repeating keys?

I don’t have a solution for this yet, but I had issues with the ‘6’ (the main one, not the numpad one) regularly not working and several keys, including ‘h’, double typing…

I found that it doesn’t do any of that when Synapse is completely killed, but then I cannot use my macro’s  😞

Try whether completely killing Synapse (click ‘close all apps’ from the Razer tray icon) makes it go away.

Hey guys!

I'm here to assist you! I understand that your Razer keyboard keys are spamming. Were there any incidents that happened to your device prior to the issue? e.g. spilled liquid, etc. Is there any noticeable physical damage to the device or any noticeable dust/dirt? Have you experienced this issue while Razer Synapse 3 is running in the background? To help resolve this, you can follow the troubleshooting steps here. If you need further assistance, please feel free to send me a PM with your keyboard's serial number and proof of purchase so i can check for replacement option. Thanks!
