Razer ProClick tilt scroll speed | Razer Insider

I recently purchased a Pro Click mouse (awesome). One of my favorite features is holding the scroll wheel to the left or right to quickly scroll a document up or down (with emphasis on *quickly*). Also, to be clear, I never installed Razer Synapse - the mouse just worked as desired out of the box on Windows 10.

I loved the mouse so much I ordered a second Pro Click for another Windows 10 machine. However, this mouse behaved differently. Holding the scroll wheel to the sides did scroll the document, but painfully slow! None of the Windows 10 mouse settings would fix this. So I installed Synapse and I could somewhat increase the scroll speed. Synapse lets me set the tilt to be up to 20x the normal scroll amount, but this is still slower than my first mouse. I did notice that Razer stores mouse settings into flash memory onboard the mouse. So I made the mistake of plugging my original mouse into the machine with Synapse running. This wiped the onboard settings of my first mouse, now this one scrolls slowly also. :(

How do I fix this? I want to restore the original high-speed scrolling of the tilt wheel. Why does Razer cap it at 20x? If I could set this value higher I think that would work.
Have you tried reinstalling the drivers of your device? I'd like to take a closer look at the issue. Please send me the serial number of your mouse via PM. I can use also use it to verify its model and assist you accordingly. Let's take it from there.
