I was wondering if the Razer Red Optical Gen 2 is gonna be released for the Razer Huntsman TE... As seen in this video at 6min 22secs Dimitri talks about how there are 2 generations of the red optical switch, and that there are keyboards fitted with the gen 2 switch (such as the Huntsman mini 60% keyboard) but not Razer Huntsman TE. I would love for there to be a release date for when the Red Optical Gen 2s are coming to the Razer Huntsman TE or to be able to buy the Red Optical Gen 2 switches, I really want them.
If the difference between the Gen 1s and the Gen 2s were non-mechanical I would just add silicon dampeners as well as some lube, but now that there are differences in how much pressure needs to be applied (40 grams instead of 45) it won't be the same despite trying to convert Gen 1s to Gen 2s.
I really want Razer to make a Huntsman TE WITH Red Optical Gen 2.
