Razer Ripsaw HD problems

For some reason, I can't get output from it most of the time. I only get synapse alerts that say the resolution is 0x0p @ 0fps. Ideally it should say 1920x1080p @ 60fps

    it is but I walked through it with support. I'll write down the issue for anyone else having the problem. When there's a monitor hooked up into the output of the razer ripsaw HD, it cannot capture any new input. Inputs load just fine whenever there isn't something plugged into the output, and continue to work after something is plugged into the output. But whenever the input needs to start again, either from reconnecting the device to a laptop, or switching input devices, the capture cannot start without removing the output.
