Razer seiren elite volume too low | Razer Insider

I've had this problem ever since I've gotten the mic. I have a Razer Seiren Elite. The mic is really inconsistent. For example before it used to be alot louder than it is now, and now it's really quiet. Before it was kinda loud, but not really that loud. I don't know what happened that made the mic volume quiet, but I've tried everything. I've turned up the gain dial. The volume dial doesn't do anything as it only controls the volume when you're headphones are plugged into the mic and you're hearing yourself. I've turned up every single windows volume slider. I've turned the microphone volume in settings all the way up, I've gone into control pannel and turned my microphone volume to max from there, and it's still really quiet. I can still hear it though, I just have to turn up my windows volume. and it's really frustrating. The fact that everything is maxed out and I have to turn up my volume to be able to hear myself. My windows microphone volume should be at like 70%, and perfectly loud and clear so I have the extra 30% if I ever wanted to make it even louder. Also, I've heard the microphone is the loudest when you talk through the top of the mic, and not on the sides. So yes, I am talking through the top, and I've tried talking through the side and I can't hear a thing at normal volume.

Now even if i talk extremely extremely loudly, the volume still caps. Now I'm pretty sure this is because of the volume cap of the microphone to prevent distortion/peaking. I thought i could adjust this using razer synapse 3, but apparently I read through all of the razer devices that razer synapse 3 supports, and it doesn't support razer seiren elite, nor does it detect it in the software.

Really, this forum post is my last resort.

Also the microphone is very inconsistant at times, sometimes it glitches out and the sound becomes weird and glitchy, and sometimes there's this high pitched background static beeeeeeep noise. Also, if I just record myself talking and just boost the volume there, it becomes loud and clear but a background fuzzy noise is clearly audible and it's really annoying.

any tips on how to fix this? That would be greatly appriciated. Also if anyone knows an alternative to razer synapse 3 that supports razer seiren elite, then thank u

Oh my! Sorry for the inconvenience. Does the mic issue happen regardless of what application/program you are using? Did you try closing all applications and testing the mic by recording your voice using the Window Voice Recorder? Check if the audio quality is the same.
