Razer Seiren x mute button

Hi all, I plugged my new Serien x into the laptop and when I press the mute button, it doesn't turn red, is that normal? I've installed all the Razer software including Synapse 3. it didn't work, I also remove the softeware, same resulte. I'm not sure is this by design or should I go for an exchange...
