Razer Synapse causes auto gain on Razer Seiren

As suggested by the title I believe there is an issue with Synapse 3. I am running windows 10 version 1909 .900. When I first launch my computer and use the microphone, the sensitivity goes down. After I manually set it back to 100% it will just auto-adjust back down to the point people and windows applications cannot hear me. This is auto gain control behavior and I could not figure out for a long time what was causing it. I tried to isolate the issue and I was able to determine that even with the "allow applications to take exclusive control of your device" off and the AGC option off this was still happening. I then checked the specifics application settings in discord to see if it was possibly controlling the gain on my microphone. It was not, when discord was closed it would still adjust. Finally, I was able to determine the Razer Synapse on launch was causing the auto gain adjustment issue. When I close the application that is running in the system tray and then re-launch it that fixes the issue. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature of Synapse 3, but there needs to be at least a setting to disable that feature. My microphone does not even show up as a device in Synapse 3 so it wouldn't make sense for it to control it. Thanks -Benjamin

Hi there! Thanks for sharing your Razer Synapse 3.0 concern here. Have you tried disabling the AGC (Automatic Gain Control) in the custom panel of your recording devices tab? If you haven't, search for properties under the sound devices section, then click on the custom tab. Let me know if it helps.

The AGC box is unchecked in that tab, and I have also disabled the allowing exclusive applications to control your device.
