Razer Synapse Causing Issues w/ Keyboard?

While playing games, particularly FPS games when I notice it the most, as I'm moving around with WASD, sometimes I will stop holding down a key but my character continues to move in that direction, as if I was still holding down the key. The only fix I have found for this is to exit out of Razer Synapse. A clean reinstall did not do the trick, unfortunately... Any thoughts on how to fix this? I want to be able to access my Razer software and RGB while playing. It is a little frustrating to have to close all Razer software in order to play a game effectively. Thank you!
