Razer Synapse doesnt work with the Audio Mixer | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hello,

I have a problem, all work great with synapse but not the last Audio Mixer.

I explain, When i connect the audio mixer, Synapse reconize it, but when i click on it, nothing appear.

I can do all but not this. I have a bar on the bottom of the Synapse with Razer Mixer audio but nothing more...

I try to reinstall the program and launch in admin, but no change... anyone have the solution ?
Hey, I have the same problem, I received the Audio Mixer 3 days ago and it's been 3 days now that I'm in contact with the support...

The only thing it shows when I click on the device is its name at the bottom.

Since when do you have this problem? Is it from an update or did you get it too and nothing worked?

Also I tried to find an older version of Synapse 3 but I come across questionable download websites...
You will need version 3.7.0331.032911 or newer. Get it from Razer Synapse 3 - Cloud-Based Hardware Configuration Tool | Razer United States

If you want to try here is an answer I received from a technician this morning (It didn't change anything for me)

Please perform the following steps.

Update/Repair Visual C++

Download/remove/repair both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of the redistributor here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

Run the installer for both versions. If it is already installed, please perform a repair for both versions of the redist.

You can perform the repair via Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.

Find the Visual C++ Redistributable in the list of programs.

Right-click on the application and select "Uninstall".

Select Repair in the next window that appears.

.Net Framework update/repair

Download the offline installer of the latest .NET Framework here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4054530/microsoft-net-framework-4-7-2-offline-installer-for-windows

Repair .NET Framework if you already have the latest version installed.

Press Windows + S and type Control Panel.

Select Uninstall a program.

Select Turn Windows features on or off.

Verify that .NET Framework 4.5 or later (4.7) is enabled.

If the .NET Framework 4.5 or higher box is not enabled (not filled), enable it by clicking it.

Select OK, then restart the computer.

If .NET Framework 4.5 or later is already enabled, repair .NET Framework by unchecking the box and restarting the computer.

After restarting, re-enable .NET Framework and restart the computer again.

Verify that .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is enabled.

If the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 box is not enabled (not populated), enable it by clicking the box. Select

OK, then restart the computer.

If .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is already activated, repair the .NET Framework by unchecking the box and restarting the computer.

After the restart, re-enable the .NET framework and restart the computer.

Windows Health

Before you start, I recommend performing a full backup or system restore point if you need to undo the changes.

Press the Windows button and type cmd.

Right click on cmd and run as administrator.

Type the following commands:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Clean-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Image-Cleanup /HealthRestore

Important: When you run this command, DISM uses Windows Update to provide the files needed to fix the corruption.

Perform a system file scan

Press the Windows button and type cmd.

Right click on cmd or select on the side run as administrator.

Type sfc /scannow and wait for it to finish.

Restart the computer.

Run CHKDSK

Press the Windows button and type cmd.

Right click on cmd and run as administrator.

Type: chkdsk /f /r

Delete TEMP folders

Open Run by right-clicking on Start and choosing it from the menu.

Type %temp% in the Run window and click OK.

In File Explorer, in the TEMP folder, select all files by pressing Ctrl + A.

Click Delete.

Let me know right away if there are any changes.

Awaiting your reply.

I wish you good luck,

Jef

Support ask me 3 times to send my log
@freshArmyGreen727 Try the steps here and reinstall the driver of the Razer Audio Mixer in the device manager. Make sure the Synapse application is up to date and try using a different USB port. If that didn't help, PM me the serial number of your device so I can create a case and raise your concern to our Software Team.

@MrPonyy PM me your case number so I can coordinate with the team handling your concern.

I'll be locking this thread to curb our conversation privately.
