Razer Synapse Fan Control Issue with Razer Blade 2017 GTX 1080 4K

So I have not updated Synapse in a while, so I decided to update the software. Normally, I have the fan settings set to manual to ensure that my system stays cool, but ever since I updated, the manual option seems to have no effect. The system increases fan speed when games are running, but now my Blade Pro is considerably hotter when playing triple A titles. I've tried reinstalling Synapse and restarting the laptop and nothing appears to work. Any Help?
