Razer Synapse not recognising Blackwidow Elite Keyboard

I upgraded from a Blackwidow to a Blackwidow Elite and synapse no longer brings it up automatically like it does for my Razer mouse or headset. I'm just wondering if other people have experienced this, or if its a dud from the retailer? Would really appreciate some support with this. Thank you !

      same thing with me , i bought a Blackwidow white and it won't recognize it or my mamba wireless mouse
