Hi! I bought Razer thresher 7.1 and it is awesome! I have optical connection between dongle and PS4.But i don't know choose which format : Linear PCM , Bitstream Dolby or Bitstream DTS. As i searched in google , Linear PCM can not handle higher than 2.0 surround with optical connection.Is it true? I spend few matches and switching between this formats and Bitstream DTS feels better than other formats and i can hear footsteps better , but in manuals , it said put it on LPCM And for mic echo , my friends say they can hear their voice again.I change my mic sensivity and volume from PS4 and headset but it still has echo. Can anybody help me? Sorry if you see any grammer mistakes

    I highly suggest that you choose Dolby Digital under Bitstream. Since the Razer Thresher 7.1 has a surround sound feature powered by Dolby on PS4. As for the echo issue, we may have to update the firmware of your headset. I'd appreciate it if you can send me the serial number of your headset. I can use that to verify its model and provide you the link for the firmware update. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
