Razer Tournament Edition microphone doesnt work

Good evening, I just purchased the Kraken Tournament Edition headphones. They were working (in the last 2 days), and stopped working. I have my Headphones TE-Chat and TE-Game set as default communication device and default device in the playback settings. And have the Headset Microphone TE-Chat set as the default device in Recording. I can NOT get the microphone to work in anything like Discord, Windows, Steam, and in-game, there is zero microphone capability! How do I fix this? I've followed the instructions completely and cannot get this to work! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! did you check self-listening if it works in synapse? And plus i once had a sitation where the switcher situated on the cable was OFF for a microphone and was wondering in my micro malfunctioned. Check this out!

Same issue with Kraken x. Worked fine until a couple of weeks ago then incredibly low microphone pickup making it unusable in games. Works fine on old PC so must be software/ driver settings.

For me it doesn't even get a ow pick up. It pick ups **NOTHING**.

I have a solution to my problem. My Kraken X has a 35mm jack which is probably what you all have. I am convinced the microphone issue was related to the drivers so I bought a USB audio adaptor from Amazon. The 35mm jack goes in one end and the USB connects to the PC. Voila - my microphone works because it is using the USB drivers instead. Hours of agony sorted. Good luck. I hope this works for you too.
