Razer Turret keyboard disconnecting at random intervals

Had this keyboard/ mouse for about a month now and overall really like them. Unfortunately a week or so ago the keyboard started disconnecting at random. usually a couple extra keystrokes appear on the screen such as: exampleeeeeeeeeeee and then it completely disconnects. Turning the keyboard on and off again seems to revolve the issue, but makes for a poor user experience. I've seen others comment about this as well but have yet to see a solution. Any recommendations?
