My mouse recently stopped working all together. For a couple months it would only woked wireless not wired so i couldnt use it if it was charging which i found strange but I ignored it because i only use it wireless anyways. It randomly stopped working all together now, dongle doesnt work, cable doesnt work, usb pairing doesnt work. I got a message from windows saying that usb wasnt recognized at first but now that doesnt even show up. its as if i am trying to plug a rock into my computer my mouse isnt recognized in any way. I uninstalled and reinstalled synaspe, tried downloading firmware and pairing utility but in both cases my mouse doesnt show up. I should mention that i have a razer keyboard and a viper mini that i am using in the meantime that both work perfectly fine. I know the mouse is fully charged because i initially thought that it just died when it disconneted and when i reconnected it, it was fully charged and worked briefly up until i restarted my pc and now it doesnt work at all.
the white light blinks when mouse is moved i should mention

Hi tikit,

I understand your Razer Viper V2 Pro is no longer being detected. Have you already tested the mouse on another PC or laptop?
When connected by cable, are you using the original Razer cable if available? Does the mouse appear anywhere in Device Manager, even as an unknown USB device? Did the issue begin after a Windows update, Synapse update, or firmware attempt?

Since you’ve already reinstalled Synapse and tried the pairing/firmware tools, please also try these steps below:

  1. Connect the mouse directly to a different USB port on the PC, preferably a rear motherboard port if available.
  2. Try the mouse on another computer in both wired and wireless mode.
  3. Remove all other non-essential USB devices temporarily, then reconnect the mouse.
  4. Open Device Manager and check under Mice and other pointing devices and Universal Serial Bus controllers for any unknown or failed device entries. If you see one, uninstall it and restart the PC.
  5. Perform a full shutdown and restart of the computer, not just a normal reboot.
  6. If the mouse has a power switch, turn it off for a minute, then back on and test again.

If the same problem persists, send me a PM with your device’s serial number and proof of purchase so I can check for replacement option. All the best!
