So I got my new Viper V2 and finally got my hyperpolling dongle and was super excited did some research so I crank my dpi up to 30k used raw accel to make my sens feel like my normal sense but when I testing my polling rate it doesn’t go over 6.6khz has anyone had this issue or do I have a bad dongle?

I also tried cranking it up to a usable amount of dpi with without using Raw Accel and still have the same issue,

I have it connected to a USB 3.2 Gen 1, have it on its own hub

I have the exact same issue, even 4k isn't stable anymore and will spike up and down. 8k is unusable, one minute it smooth next it isn't as that also spikes in polling rate.

I've reported it to razer and awaiting a fix.

Same happened to my v2 pro. It was ok before latest firmware (at least it was last time I check polling rate in test app) but smth changed and I cant achieve 8k, I am stuck at 7k max. What happened? Did firmware downgrade polling rate? Or may be some Windows update broke smth? What I tried already:

  • Reinstalling Windows 11 ( tried latest 23H2 and Cannary build ) - not working;
  • Clear CMOS Bios - not working;
  • Installed Beta Synapse and regular Synapse - not working;
  • Deleted all bloatware, closed all apps in background (gpu, sound and other services\apps) - not working;
  • pair and unpair V2 Pro - not working;
  • didnt use my Razer account ( fresh profile ) - not working;

I am out of ideas…

Have you check for new firmware recently? They released a new one last month that made it more consistent

only 2 variants left, its miscrosoft broke smth or razer with their latest firmware for viper v2 pro. Cause when they unlock 8k with previous firmware I could easily achieve 8k in their polling test app. After update to latest firmware 7k max.
